aLINA BLAKESLEY
Alina, originally from England, was raised in a vibrant Polish community that loved music and dance. She honors her roots through Polish songs and dances and has an extensive repertoire to entertain on any occasion.
sALLY TRICE
Sally was captivated when she saw her first accordion as a ten-year-old and begged her parents to let her take lessons. She's been squeezing ever since and also teaches accordion, sight-singing, and theory, working with students of all ages.
JANINE BLATT
Janine made her accordion debut in 1996 with Squeeze, Please! a homegrown Peaks Island group, and has been playing ever since. She is also a member of the Ideal Maine Social Aid and Sanctuary Band.
pETER BLAcKSTONE
Peter loves to play and compose on accordion and guitar. He firsttook lessons on a 12 bass accordion in 4th grade. Besides The MaineSqueeze, he has played in an African band, a folk band, a gospel band and a Zydeco band. He also currently plays in the Casco Bay Tango Project.

Barbara favorite instruments are mountain dulcimer, and various kinds of ukuleles, guitars, banjos, zithers and hand percussion. She hosts a weekly global music program on WMPG in Portland.
